" I wanted to love Desi Tandoor from the jump but was simply let down during my visit. The chicken tikka masala I ordered was bland, which is not what I expect from Indian cuisine. There was hardly any spice in the dish. The naan was decent but nothing to write home about. The service was mediocre with some indifference shown by the staff. " Last night, I decided to order takeout from Desi Tandoor after hearing good things about their biryani. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I found the biryani to be dry and lacking the spiciness that I expect from a good chicken biryani. The chicken pieces were also a bit tough and didn't taste like authentic Indian cuisine. " I recently had the chance to order their chicken seekh kebab. While the kebabs were flavorful and tender, the accompanying chutneys did not impress me.
